Recessed or surface-mounted spots?

What exactly is the difference between recessed and surface-mounted spotlights? Let us tell you!

• Recessed spots: recessed spots are mounted in the ceiling. With these spots, you need to pay close attention to what type of ceiling you have and whether the spot fits in. Recessed spotlights give a clean look and are the perfect basic lighting in any room in the house. If you choose dimmable light sources, you can dim the light. This is often nice for the kitchen or living room, for example.

• Surface-mounted spotlights: surface-mounted spotlights are mounted on the ceiling. With these spotlights, you don't have to take the type of ceiling into account because it is simply placed against the ceiling. That makes surface-mounted spotlights multifunctional! These spotlights stand out more than recessed spotlights and have more of a decorative function.
