Product description

Without strain relief, the weight of the lamp would only hang on the copper wires of your lamp and you risk pulling the copper wires out of the connection points of a fitting or terminal block. The strain relief clamps the cord, which means that the weight of the lamp hangs on the entire cord and not just on the copper wires in the fitting. If you add a strain relief to your construction, you will avoid the connection with the two small screws and ensure that the cord is firmly attached to your fitting and that the cord is not damaged. You attach this strain relief to the cord of your lamp.
